Description
Sand De-Waterer, Electric/Hydraulic Mobile Unit. The 'Trident 2' Dewaterer is a mobile screw recovery twin bucket wheel dewatering unit and is additional to the present Powerscreen product range. The 'Trident 2' Dewaterer is a high output unit incorporating many novel features:- 1. High capacity twin bucket wheels with infinitely variable speed control. 2. Deep fluted fines recovery screw with infinitely variable speed control. 3. Adjustable plate between bucket tank and settling tank for release/retention of fines. 4. Specially designed inlet boxes which reduce turbulence at entry. 5. Weir discharge system adjustable from 0 to 40 metres (131 ft.) long. 6. 6 point water injection system for agitation and floating off fines where necessary. In general, the machine is designed with a major degree of versatility i.e. maximum retention of fines on the one hand, through to agitation and maximum disposal of fines on the other. PERFORMANCE PORTABILITY PROFITABILITY The Trident 2 is powered by an 11 KW (15 HP) electric/hydraulic unit or alternatively driven from a Commander Rinser. The 'Trident 2' Dewaterer is fitted with axle and tow bar and is fully mobile. When in operation the 'Trident 2' Dewaterer is supported on 6 off adjustable support legs. TRANSPORT The 'Trident 2' Dewaterer may be driven hydraulically from the 'coupling' attach- ment of the Powerscreen Commander 10' x 5' Rinsing Unit. Alternatively a 15 HP electric/hydraulic powerpack can be fitted. POWER UNIT Input and discharge chutes are fitted. Discharge may be a single chute for one grade of sand or two chutes for two grades of sand and are designed to feed into Mobile 60 or Mobile 70 'ground mounted' stockpiling conveyors. Input chutes have a 'dead- box' effect to slow down the sand and water entering the dewaterer and thus reduce turbulence. CHUTES POWERSCREEN FINES DISCHARGE CONTROL A series of adjustable discharge weirs situated at the end of the settlement tank feed into the discharge trough, the total linear overflow length being 39.3 m (128 ft 11 ins). all parts. Guards are fitted all round to protect and maintain GUARDS eliminating need for shear pins. drives against overload, Bucket wheels and screw are driven hydraulically through variable speed flow control valves. An in-built preset relief valve protects the bucket wheel and screw SCREW SECTION 2.06 m (6 ft 9 ins) diameter by 3.1 m (10 ft 2 ins) long screw driven hydraulically through a variable speed flow control valve. The screw is contained in a settlement tank fitted with a tailings discharge trough at one end and a series of 50 mm (2 ins) water jets for controlled agitation. DRIVE BUCKET WHEELS 2.6 m (8 ft 6 ins) diameter twin bucket wheels fitted with 14 off buckets per wheel. Buckets are 750 mm (30 ins) wide and are fitted with 'quick release' perforated plate panels for draining off water. Length 7.335 m (24 ft 0 ins) Width 2.925 m (9 ft 6 ins) Height 3.270 m (10 ft 9 ins) Weight 7.200 kilos (15,840 lbs) Water Capacity 10,680 litres (2,340 gals) Total Linear Overflow 39.3 m (128 ft 11 ins) Water Flow 5000 l/min (1100 GPM) Screw Drive Speed 0-5 RPM Bucket Drive Speed 0-3.3 RPM Tyre Size 1000 x 20 Tyre Pressure. 7 Bar (100 PSI)The Trident 2 is fitted with twin road wheels, heavy duty tow bar and retractable jacking legs to facilitate portability. At maximum production, the Trident 2 will handle 180 tonnes (200 American tons) *per hour. It can process with ease one or two grades of high and low fines content sand or fly ash. *(This figure is dependent on raw material content).
